When is the Silicon Valley Half Marathon & 5K?
Race day is Sunday, March 14, 2027. The Half Marathon starts at 8:00am and the 5K starts at 8:30am. Race weekend also includes a Health & Fitness Expo and packet pickup on Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13, 2027.
Where does the race start and finish?
Both the Half Marathon and 5K start and finish at Riverview Park, along the Guadalupe River Trail in San Jose, California.
How much does it cost to register?
The regular rate is $127.49 for the Half Marathon and $65.17 for the 5K. Rates increase on November 15, 2027, so registering early costs less.
When can I pick up my bib and shirt?
Bib and shirt pickup is available at the Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, March 12 (11am–8pm) and Saturday, March 13, 2027 (11am–8pm). The expo location will be announced closer to race weekend.
Do finishers get a medal?
Yes. Every participant who crosses the finish line receives a custom die-cast finisher medal for the 2027 Silicon Valley Half Marathon & 5K.
What charity does the race support?
The Silicon Valley Half Marathon & 5K partners with Sacred Heart Community Service, a San Jose nonprofit founded in 1964 that serves over 40,000 people annually through food, clothing, housing assistance, and education programs.
How can I volunteer?
